Aussehen der Pflanze: Die Olea, auch Olivenbaum genannt, hat glänzende, lanzettförmige Blätter, deren Farbe von silbergrün bis dunkelgrün variiert. Die Blätter sind schmal und stehen dicht beieinander, was der Pflanze ein elegantes Aussehen verleiht. Die Olea kann im Sommer kleine, unscheinbare weiße Blüten hervorbringen, auf die Oliven folgen.

Standort: Die Olea gedeiht am besten an einem sonnigen Standort, sowohl drinnen als auch draußen. Der Außenbereich muss vor starkem Wind und Frost geschützt sein. Im Innenbereich wird die Pflanze am besten in der Nähe eines Fensters mit viel natürlichem Licht platziert.

Wasserbedarf: Die Olea hat einen mäßigen Wasserbedarf. Lassen Sie die oberste Schicht der Blumenerde zwischen den Wassergaben trocknen. Im Sommer muss die Pflanze möglicherweise etwas häufiger gegossen werden als im Winter. Überwässerung sollte vermieden werden.
