Aussehen der Pflanze:

Die Dypsis Lutescens, auch als Areca-Palme bekannt, hat elegante, leicht gewölbte Blätter, die in üppigen Büscheln wachsen. Die Blätter sind hellgrün und haben eine feine, federartige Textur, die der Pflanze ein anmutiges und luftiges Aussehen verleiht. Die Stiele sind schlank und haben einen sanften, gelbgrünen Farbton, der perfekt mit den Blättern harmoniert. In Innenräumen bildet die Pflanze selten Blüten, aber wenn sie blüht, sind diese klein und gelb.

Standort:

Die Dypsis Lutescens gedeiht am besten an einem hellen Standort, vermeiden Sie jedoch direktes Sonnenlicht. Stellen Sie die Pflanze ins Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer oder Büro und schaffen Sie so eine tropische Atmosphäre. Ein Standort im Halbschatten ist ebenfalls möglich, das Wachstum ist dann allerdings langsamer.

Wasserbedarf:

Die Areca-Palme mag eine leicht feuchte Blumenerde. Geben Sie der Pflanze regelmäßig Wasser, damit die Erde leicht feucht bleibt, vermeiden Sie jedoch, dass die Wurzeln in stehendem Wasser stehen. Im Winter kann die Wassergabe etwas reduziert werden.
